Montello, our 22-year old bay mare captured near Ely, Nevada as a yearling. She was the absolute leader of the herd! Recently deceased July 2022. Severe COPD and hoof issues. Photo by GA Lager

Morning Star, our young filly, is very spirited, more so than either Nevada, or Mesteño, at the same age. I think her mustang spirit will make her a great riding horse.  Very curious and likes to be around people. Great jumper! Photo by GA Lager

It's me with Mesteño (l) and Nevada. Both of these guys were adopted through the program offered by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. Also shown in the photo below at a younger age. Best of friends but Nevada is definitely the boss!
